Alpharetta, GA – Car Crash with Injuries on GA-400 Near Mansell Rd
Alpharetta, GA (December 15, 2021) – At 7:54 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 15, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Alpharetta.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of exit 8, Mansell Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided forcefully with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, two center lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 9 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
