Adairsville, GA – Rollover Accident with Injuries at Hwy 53 & Autry Rd
Adairsville, GA (August 20, 2022) – Several parties were injured in a rollover accident that took place at an intersection in Adairsville on Saturday morning, August 20.
According to Floyd County officials, the accident happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 53 and Autry Road. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling in a vehicle with several passengers when they went through the intersection at high speeds and lost control. Their vehicle overturned in the middle of the intersection, sustaining severe damages.
Floyd County responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. It was reported that several victims were seriously injured in the accident and had to be freed from the vehicle by fire crews.
