Adairsville, GA – Motorcycle Crash with Injuries at 6770 GA-140
Adairsville, GA (August 14, 2021) – At 7:48 p.m. on the evening of Friday, August 13, a motorcycle crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Adairsville.
According to officials, the accident happened at 6770 GA-140. A motorcycle was allegedly traveling in the area when it was struck by at least one passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. The motorcycle was badly damaged as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A medical helicopter was called to the scene and took the motorcyclist to the hospital. His condition and identity are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
