Adairsville, GA – Injuries Reported in Motorcycle Accident on I-75
Adairsville, GA (June 1, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 1, a motorcycle accident with injuries occurred in Adairsville.
According to Bartow County officials, the accident happened on I-75 around the area of Highway 140. A motorcycle and two semi-trucks were traveling in the area when the vehicles collided due to unknown reasons. This led to extensive damages to the motorcycle.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was flown to a local hospital by medical helicopter.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
