Acworth, GA – Car Accident at GA-92 & Bells Ferry Rd Intersection
Acworth, GA (July 16, 2021) – At 8:17 a.m. on the morning of Friday, July 16, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Acworth.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-92 and Bells Ferry Road. A passenger vehicle and a pickup truck entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The pickup truck sustained extensive front-end damages and debris was scattered all over the roadway.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
