Acworth, GA – Car Accident at Cedarcrest Rd & Arthur Hills Leaves Victims Injured
Acworth, GA (August 12, 2021) – At 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday morning, August 11, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Acworth.
According to the Paulding Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Cedarcrest Road and Arthur Hills Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked for approximately one hour at the intersection until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
