Augusta, GA – Two Injured in Car Crash on Riverwatch Pkwy
Augusta, GA (September 1, 2021) – On Tuesday, August 31, a car crash with injuries occurred on a major highway in Augusta.
According to police, the accident happened on the Riverwatch Parkway around the area of Topgolf Way. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. Two people, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. They are expected to recover from their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
