We also want to mention that each year CCS, hosts a Holiday Wish List Event in December. The Holiday Wish List event provides gifts to 30 children in foster care and 80 adults and children with developmental disabilities served by CCS. Creative Community Services, an Atlanta GA based nonprofit organization, was started by Sally Buchanan in 1982. Sally created this organization to help children and adults with special needs. Her goal is to provide an environment to take these abused, neglected, and special needs individuals and turn them into independent adults. The current state system releases these individuals into the world without the full skill set to live independently. CCS’s team actually mentors these individuals to help them bridge the gap into adulthood.
