Columbus, GA (June 6, 2021) – At 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon, June 4, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Columbus.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-80 and Psalmond Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection. A total of eight vehicles were photographed with damages at the intersection.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims were taken to the hospital with injuries but they are expected to recover.

Due to the severity of the collision, all four lanes were blocked for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
